narrowing ideas

okk so I've been thinking about the topic that I want to use for the semester, and when I thought about my three selected topics again recently, the answer seemed to just kind of jump out at me this time. I could choose one of the two topics that I know way too much about, dance or fashion, and while either of those may seem an easy topic to work with, I think that either will be just as difficult, if not more, to work with because it would be hard to incorporate every part in either of the worlds, the dance world or the fashion world, in one main idea. So I think that I've decided to go with my third topic of choice, Schizophrenia. I am so intrigued by this disorder and would love to learn more about it. I almost find it fascinating and so interesting as to what the disease does to it's victim. I think that it will be a good topic because I think that it is not very commonly known about and maybe some common knowledge can be learned. I fell in love with the movie 'A Beautiful Mind' a few years ago, where actor Russell Crowe plays the notorious codebreaker John Nash who's powerful mind is a victim of schizophrenia. I love the movie and the acting was supurb, but I want to learn more about this disease. I don't know much about it as of now, other than that I find it fascinating. It is an illness that plays with one's sense of reality, in which case the victim is affected by various hallucinations that cause them to see and hear things that do not exist, but in their minds' they make up their world. What I don't know and would like to learn is how the disease comes about, how many people across the globe does it affect, and what are the different cases and severities the illness contains.
So that's the topic I think that I am going to go with, just writing that made me eager to get on this. hope everyone finds it interesting!
